The island of Vieques is located just 7 miles off the southeast coast of Puerto Rico. The island is 15 miles long and 5 miles wide with one town and one small fishing village. There are many Americans on the island, all very friendly and helpful. Most of the restaurants are owned by Americans and feature excellent and reasonably priced dishes.

We own property at what was once a sugar plantation on this incredible island. We spend two or three months a year on Vieques and plan to retire there.
